"Details" means the personal information about yourself that you provide to RDP on this Website; "Consumer Information Centre " is a trading name of RDP Limited, the owner and manager of the Website;
"Link" means any hypertext transfer protocol which by your clicking on it enables you to be directed to a different page of this website or to a different website altogether;
"Terms" means these terms and conditions including any material that you can directly access through links in these;
"Visitor" means any individual that personally accesses this Website
"Website" means the Brochure Service Web Pages. These can normally be found at the Uniform Resource Locator http://www.consumer-info.co.uk; or viewed on third party websites under Licence from RDP;
"You" means you, the user of this Website.

1.2 The plural shall include the singular and the singular the plural.

2 Trademark notice

2.1 The words 'Consumer Information Centre ' in any colour or depiction is a registered trademark of RDP. It is our policy to litigate over any breaches. Breaches shall include using the same words in relation to the provision of any similar service to that provided by RDP. Breaches shall also include using a name, names, icon or icons that may result in individuals or businesses being confused into thinking that they are dealing with RDP.

3. Copyright Notice

3.1 The copyright in the contents of all the pages in the Website are owned or licensed to RDP . You must not copy reproduce distribute post or transmit or link to any page for commercial or business reasons unless you have first received RDP's written permission to do so.

4 Your Relationship With RDP

4.1 Some Visitors to this Website request that certain information (including brochures and catalogues) is mailed to them. In most cases, the information that can be requested in this manner is not within RDP's possession, as RDP largely provides an advertising service for other businesses which are its clients;

4.2 Where information is requested of RDP in situations where it does not have such information, RDP will ask its client that has the information that You have requested to send it to You. In order for this to happen however, RDP will have to provide such clients with the details that You provide to RDP . You hereby expressly consent to your Details being passed to such clients in the way described in this clause. Where You request information in this manner:

4.2.1 You will receive a re-confirmation email from RDP asking you to re-confirm your order and once you have re-confirmed your request your order will be processed . The re-confirmation email will contain an order number for your reference

4.2.2 There will be NO charge to You; this service is FREE. As there are no financial consequences to your requesting information, RDP does not operate a cancellation service. Once requested, re-confirmed and approved, your information will be delivered to You

4.2.3 Subject to the clauses in the Terms, delivery of the information is usually within 5 working days of requests for it;

4.3 In order to provide a quality service, RDP has set itself the task of trying to ensure that all enquiries made about its clients' products and/or services can be followed up with further information. For this to happen, RDP also passes email addresses of Visitors to the clients whose products or services the Visitor in question has made enquiries about. You also hereby expressly consent to your email address being supplied to RDP's clients in the manner described in this clause in situations where You have provided it to RDP in connection with a relevant enquiry;

4.4 Your use of this Website is always subject to the condition that You use it honestly, and in good faith. If RDP (in its sole and unquestionable discretion) is of the view that You are in breach of these Terms, it may choose to ignore any requests for information that You make. In such situations, your requests will not be fulfilled, RDP's decision will be final, and RDP will not enter into any correspondence or discussion over the matter.

5. Exclusion of RDP's Liability (Your Statutory Rights Are Not Affected)

5.1 The information on this Website is not advice and You should not rely on it to make (or refrain from making) any decision or take (or refrain from taking) any action. RDP does not make any warranty or representation as to the accuracy or fitness for purpose of any material on the Website;

5.2 RDP does not accept liability of any description including liability for negligence (except for personal injury or death) for any damages or losses (including without limitation loss of business revenue profits or consequential loss) whatsoever resulting from use of or inability to use the Website;

5.3 Whilst RDP shall use its best endeavors to update the material displayed on the Website it accepts no responsibility for any failure to do so;

5.4 RDP is not responsible or liable for any matter which is not within its direct control (including but not limited to the breakdown of the server or servers on which this Website is hosted);

5.5 RDP cannot and does not guarantee fulfillment of any requests, and particularly not those that it passes to its clients for fulfillment.

6. Notifications

6.1 All notifications to RDP under these Terms must be in writing and shall be sent by receipted Email to: service@rdp.info;

6.2 All notifications are deemed to arrive at the time of transmission if proof of successful sending is available.

7. Advertisements and Links

7.1 The Website may contain material submitted and created by third parties. RDP excludes all liability for any illegality arising from or error omission or inaccuracy in such material;

7.2 The Rapid Response Email may also contain Links to other websites which are not under the control of and are not maintained by RDP . RDP is not responsible for the content of those sites. RDP provides the Links for your convenience only and does not necessarily endorse the material on these sites.

8. Law governing the Terms

8.1 The use of this Website and these Terms shall be subject only to the laws of England and Wales which shall exclusively govern the interpretation, application and effect of the Terms;

8.2 The Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all claims or disputes arising in relation to out of or in connection with the Website and its use and these Terms.

9. Data Protection and Privacy Policy

9.1 Your Details are held and processed in accordance with RDP's data protection registration;

9.2 RDP's Privacy Policy is simple. It is designed to confirm how it treats the Details (your personal Information) that You provide to it;

9.3 RDP has two types of Visitors; those who visit the Website and gather all the information that they require online. If this describes You, RDP will have no need to obtain any Details from you. The second type of Visitor that RDP has is the Visitor who requests that certain information (including brochures and catalogues which may, or may not be available to them on the Website), is mailed to them. If this describes You, then in order for RDP to be able to process your request, it will require your email address (so that it can ask you to acknowledge and re-confirm your request), and your name and address (so that it can arrange for the requested information to be dispatched to You. 9.11 If You provide your Details to RDP we will hold those Details securely in accordance with its internal security policy and in accordance with the law;

9.12 Any Details held by RDP will be accurate and up to date. You can check your Details held by emailing service@rdp.info. If You find any inaccuracies or wish to change certain aspects of the Details (e.g. if You change Your name, or move house), RDP will correct the Details promptly.
